Eight weeks before
- Accept your offer and pay any deposit due
- Apply for accommodation (university halls or private)
- Book flights once your visa is in hand
- Arrange health insurance and any required vaccinations
Four weeks before
- Open a travel-friendly bank arrangement; carry some local currency
- Notify your current institution/employer

One week before
